More than 35 Friends met joyfully online for worship, business and fellowship over the two day period. It was approved that Led by Faith to Work for Justice will be the theme of 2022 Yearly Meeting Sessions, Sunday, April 10 to Sunday, April 17. Sessions will be held both in person and online with hopes that all will be able to participate in parts of the meeting. Details will be forthcoming.

Danielle Evans writes: Gerald stepped into the Light this morning at 03:05 am - his body weary - at peace now.
Gerald Jimmy Jr. is a member of the Fort Worth Monthly Meeting and former clerk of SCYM. He is at peace after a long illness.  His gentle spirit will live on in the memories of many SCYM Friends.

• 5:30pm Central (US/Can), Wednesday, 30 March — For SCYM Peace & Justice friends wanting to support Ukrainian people, New York Yearly Meeting’s Powell House will offer a special program, What Can We Do to Help the People of Ukraine? by experienced Friend, Spee Braun.

• 3 pm Central (US/Can), Sunday, 24 April 2022 — “Roots of Injustice: Seeds of Change” a Toward Right Relationship with Native Peoples workshop.
• 6 pm Central (US/Can), Friday, 8 July 2022, Spiritual Companion Groups Workshop, for all of us seeking a spiritually-grounded way to work toward regenerative, peaceful, just communities and societies.

• SIMPLE MEAL (On Sunday, April 17 we will share a simple meal of leftovers, including Easter eggs and contributions of food brought by Friends to share. Contributions for the Simple Meal are sent to an organization involved in combating hunger world wide each year, the organization to be chosen by the Quarterly Meeting that has charge of the adult program. This year Cielo Grande Quarter has designated World Central Kitchen as the recipient. They are serving almost 300,000 daily meals in Ukraine through Chefs for Ukraine. • BOOK TABLE (lots of choices for all ages from QuakerBooks of FGC, please bring cash or checks for purchasing. SCYM has no way to take credit for those purchasing books onsite.)
